What has Sophia been doing?

How has Sophia spent the last three months?

This is related to my RPG and I want to know how people will answer this.

Yup. Or a historian interviewed my aunt as a branch from a lead he had. 3 days of interviewing and confirming details until the timeline was in her 20s, it was a week more until we got to modern days in her 70s... but guy hung onto every detail though. 🤷‍♀️ [I have no idea how I didn't realize my phone wrecked this story]

I'm with you here haha, my first thought when I saw the poll was "Applying for grants and teaching undergrads"

Kestrel

I see! I've been imagining this like Hellboy.

I'll admit, herbalism and paganism and the occult seem like they'd be big things to focus on in my book, if I had to choose one thing to do - sure the hands-on practical experience is nice, but I feel like it's gotta help knowing what to expect beforehand. IMHO at least, that feels like it'd mean studying myths, traditions and local flora - even if you don't necessarily believe everything in the tales, it's still a basis to work off of so you're not surprised when that hole in the wall next to you turns out to be the keyslot to a portal XD.

Sophia lives in a world where fairies and demons stash their goodies in strange and disturbing ruins, sometimes in other worlds. It's a bit different than working as an archaeologist in our world.

Treasure hunting plot is weird for me because I know real historians. How I imagine 3 months treasure hunting. 80% reading newspaper 10% asking people where a 100year old lady lives, 5% trying not to sound stalkerish when you know everything about her family . 4% walking. .01% finding rare musical box from an artist who didn't know he was using unobtanium. .9% trying to convince the TSA to insure it for its value.
