April Minicomic Poll #2

Oh heck! I forgot to write up this poll in time. Super sorry everyone D:

Anyway, let's rock!

This poll will be open from April 9th (Whenever I manage to get this out) to April 12th (10pm CET).

And your options are:

-

1. A Dimensional Change of Vocation - 15 years ago, right before an Elf and an Orc adventurer re-discovered the Gem Of Reality warping and altered the history of the Seventh Realm, an Elf seamstress casually fantasizes about a world where Elves and Humans weren't historical allies.

She jokes about the prospect with a noble-woman who's in her shop to pick up an extravagant dress for a fancy ball in the capital of West Galria. The seamstress is known far and wide for her attention to detail and finely crafted gowns and suits. And as always her work is being commended for its high quality when the Seventh Realm changes.

In the blink of an eye, the dress studio alters as sewing needles become heavy iron studs, bolts of silk turn into raw steel and the cozy fireplace roars into a furious furnace. No more a fancy dress studio, but a run of the mill blacksmith's forge, one of many that produce the armor and weapons needed by the Elves of Dywinnica to reclaim their homelands from the Humies. And the seamstress?

As an experienced blacksmith her hands are calloused and rough enough to take a stray blow from her hammer, and with the arm strength she now possesses, it's miracle she wouldn't pulverize her fingers' bones. Like all Elves, she's tall, muscular and rough around all edges. She's got no patience for fancy details or pretty ornaments on her armor. If it's solid enough to withstand a swordblow it's good enough for the Elven armies!

2. Dragonesses and Dresses - A chubby nerdy AMAB eggtagonist with glasses on his face is rolling up a DnD character when "his" emerald-looking 20 sided dice "he" is using begins to glow and transforms "him" into a big, busty and buff anthro dragoness in a huge poofy ballgown version of "his" otherwise normal outfit, which then further transforms into a poofy ballgown version of a knight's armor. The room becomes a fantasy tavern setting full of various buff and busty dragonesses also dressed in ballgown versions of outfits typical worn by DnD Classes.

3. Method Acting Gone Wrong? - The famed Veracroix Theatre of the Orcish city of Mint (yes, one of the largest Orcish cities in the Seventh Realm is just named "Mint"), faces dire straights when one of the lead actors quits the day of the premiere of the latest and greatest play. The only one who can hope to fill in for her role is her much beleaguered understudy.

Unfortunately, the part is explicitly meant for a fine lady orc, and the understudy is human and although not particularly masculine (by choice), he is no fancy lady. Hoping to avoid disaster long enough to get back the main actor, they simply dolly the understudy up in some really good cosmetics to look the part. And somehow, the unique performance gets standing ovations and excellent reviews. Which the understudy finds... exciting...

As the season progresses, the theatre has no luck in convincing the original actress back. Thankfully, the understudy quickly adapts and improves in their acting skill. Soon theatre-goers are as in love with the new starlet as they were with the old one. And between afterparties, promotions, additional coaching and more convincing make-up, the new actress begins to adopt the position as the "Veracroix Diva" more convincingly than any acting role.

By the end of the production's run, the last diva is old news, and the theatre's new star actress draws in the crowds like never before. Reviewers rave about the Orc starlet as the Theatre's crown jewel, and behind the closed curtains, she makes sure that everyone knows it. Haughty, demanding and impatient as she is, the Theatre management does everything they can to appease her, lest they lose a star that they know this time that they can't replace.

4. An Equalizing Force - A man is walking his dog down the street in the city when he notices a blue swirling portal that no one else does.

Entranced, both wander through the portal and find themselves in a field with a stone temple in the distance. They wander to find help, with the man becoming muscular, but more feminine, and the dog becoming more human-esque. After receiving an explanation from the Celestines which inhabit Dyleus, the new Orc and her Qian-do partner find themselves in the city of Minchiri in the Empire of Hyraal.

5. RAZE: The City - A sleepy egg tries new RAZE: The City, a coffee flavoured energy drink. She goes from being a slow witted (from a lack of sleep) but intelligent boymoding pushover (who runs herself ragged taking extra shifts and doing other people favours), to a perky and impulsive (still smart, but now she's too impulsive to take advantage of it instead; some things never change) punk, who will do no harm, but take no shit.
