Your 2-Minute July Update

Hi everyone! June was another photo finish despite my best efforts, haha.
I spent much of the start of the month getting the Token Editor out the door, which I believe was a worthy investment of time, especially as we start adding furniture, wagons, town tokens, and all sorts of other goodies into it.
We're still adding some necessary features to it before all those things are available (namely default colors, so that you don't have to color every single layer every time) but I hope to have that done before the end of July! After that, we'll get back to adding accessories to the character tokens, and other fun features.
Also this month we began AND funded the Mimic's Grid Kickstarter. If you haven't checked it out yet, I recommend getting in before it ends in 10 days! You can see the Kickstarter here:

Besides these things, we also managed to add the following to our growing collection of maps and map assets:

This month I am determined to experiment with the third dimension again. I won't make any other promises or leave any hints here, you'll just have to wait and see!
To leave you all with a question I'd like to ask, what non-character assets would you most like to see added to the Token Editor? Forest assets, for all sorts of trees? That's the first one to come to my mind. I'd love to collect all of your ideas.
Finally, you can grab a free $1 map with the coupon seahorseuprising valid until the end of July. You can browse the selection here.
I like this idea! Maybe just a vast pack of symbols for labeling all manner of maps. I'll give it some thought.

hey! im like super late but I was fiddling around with my campaign in Roll20 and I was thinking how nice it would be to have a bunch of little sign posts or flags or something that represent different shops? Kinda like in how RPG's theres the anvil sign outside blacksmiths, arrows for fletchers, a tall mug for taverns, ect.
I think that might work well in a token editor kinda deal too, but hey thats just my opinion and fantasy. The other stuff here sounds like really good ideas too. Anyways, thanks ross and troy for the awesome content!!!

I'm working on making it more obvious, but you can currently tell which by whether the button reads "Download" or "Add to Cart" when you hover over an item on the gallery. Thanks for your patience.

Treasure assets! It would be great to have more hoards like the Crystal Cave map for battles against dragons, dwarf kings, and bandit lords with heaps of glittering treasure all around. One of my favorite puzzles for players is how they even manage to get a massive hoard like those back to town to spend it.

Hm. When it comes to things id need in multiple colors i think shields, flags, tents...maybe rugs, wagon covers, horse barding, and such. Anything that might show off the colors of a kingdom/nation/specific merc company. Also if you throw an open book, closed book, and a full bookcase with the ability to shade each volume? I think thats a small but detailed piece thatd go a long way to creating fun options for spaces.

Has the format of the website changed? I can't tell at-a-glance which maps I've already downloaded. It was really useful when deciding which map to choose with the monthly promo code.

I love the Ocean Assets and have pasted your little islands in an image - but it would be nice if you had the palm tree separately.

I'd love to see city street stuff. I run urban battles frequently and would love stuff I could leave lying around that would make streets more interesting.

What non-character assets would you most like to see added to the Token Editor? some beasts or animals; chimeras, foxes, dogs, cats, horses, unicorns, idk some stuff like that
