First glance: how beautiful, calming, and peaceful. Popup for email address entry was distracting while I was trying to read more about you. Animations (fade in, slide in, etc...) felt disruptive when I wanted to get information quickly and felt the animations were causing me to wait (which they probably weren't--or not for very long--and I'm just in an impatient phase of life).
