That’s what Christopher Columbus said in that cartoon they made Jonny watch in school when he was little.
When the Redeemers attacked Jonny had fought bravely, but it was clear that they were outmatched. Remembering that old cartoon, Jonny had surrendered to the enemy.
The Redeemers were a warrior misogynist cult turned army that had ravaged the inner planets. They considered cowardice a womanly trait and treated their prisoners accordingly.
Jonny was handed over to the garrison commander, who had him “bio-reformatted” and implanted with obedience cybernetics to serve as one of the garrison’s mute bed-slaves. Constantly giving “relief” to the troops.
Now only called “Girl”, voiceless, dickless, hopeless, Jonny realized that the old cartoon was full of shit. Better that he had died a man, than live like this as a sex-slave.
