July Main project and Special announcement!

Hello my Sweethearts!

Dzikan is back!
How are you doing? How are you feeling?Are you enjoying the summer this year?

I rested very actively for about three weeks. Three weeks of pure sightseeing and admiring the scenery.  And after we came back, it turned out we needed extra time to just sleep and very slowly get back to work. When all you do is sit in front of your monitor you end up having a very frail body.

And I personally also needed time to adjust to my gaming work, because I was immediately thrown into work right away. You can imagine how I was overwhelmed, haha. )
On the other hand our Tao needed to deal with various piled paperwork, bills, customs, which always happens when you’re going on vacation.

Long story short, here we are! The first of July and ready to go!
Until in a few months we’ll gas out as it always happens. )

I decided that we need to go easy from the start. I also wanted to save up better projects for the best season to work on long projects - Autumn and Early winter. We have at least THREE TWO MONTHS awesome projects to work on. They are big and full of content, which needs extra attention and a lot of effort.

The summer in our place is very harsh and we don’t have an air conditioner. Last week it was around 37 C or 98 F heat. It’s just getting extremely hot in the apartment, so much that most of your strength goes right into enduring the heat, rather than working properly.
I’m praying to not have 42 C or 107 F temperature like it was two previous years before, because it was a mind and soul crushing experience. Especially to me, who whole life lived in a chill siberian climate, where we sometimes had snow in June. )

According to my observation of my patreon, the list popular projects were based on famous Genshin Impact.  They usually got the lowest voting score and I understand why. Anime style gacha games are not for all.
I’m very grateful to all of you for kindly embracing three projects we did before. Even so, they weren’t exactly what you prefer for most of you.
We still have two Genshin projects left to share with you. I could swipe them away till the good days, but I don’t know when that day will come.We spent time and effort to work on them on set and it would be a shame to not give these projects some justice in post-production.
Here’s what I decided.
One project will become the main project of this month and the other will become Special for two summer months.

The project that will become the main project of July is Rosaria, who participated in three voting and didn’t manage to win your hearts, but once was close to it.
It would fair to honor it I think. )

The project that will become Special for July and August is Mona cosplay.
This project didn’t come out that well as we expected it to be on set. The model wasn’t able to fully embrace the character and the costume didn’t feel natural on her.
So in a way I consider it an experimental project and better suited to be in Specials.

I want to thank all of you who still decided to stay with me after one month pause and still giving your support towards Dzikan photography.
We are working on preparations for new projects, but with current political situation it’s getting harder and harder for us each day. Basically new day gives you new problems to solve, adds a bit of issues and elevates the difficulty of each shoot. But we’ll see. Everyhting will be alright. )
