Hey, Duanni-- here are responses from Alec, the series creator! "I think the idea is that Nano is allowed to continue because the EPs gain the levers of power, allowing them to subsidize mpregging. Also, we are witnessing Mpreg in a decade or so of explosion - it will trail off around the high 30 percent of men or at most low 40s. At that rate, many men are leaving the workforce at a rate that allows hiring or promotions to replace them. Thus, some economists might see Mpreg as an economic windfall for workers and the tax base." And, as for the multiple pregnancy question: men can get pregnant like anyone else once they're changed. Most, in fact, will get pregnant soon after delivering in the far future.

They seem to want to control men and be in power but overall there seems to be no downside to being a mpreggo. Your needs are met and you are mostly too distracted or too dumb to notice the condescension from women by the time you are fully manifested. other than the camp of unwed teenagers in natural man there seems to be no downside and the economy and ecology of the planet appears to be no different. Also can mpreggos get pregnant more than once maybe with the new women. Sorry to bother you I just really enjoy the series and had a couple questions. Thank you for your time.
