but he must accept himself as he is now. can't be who he once was...but can't be who the rest wanted him to be. he now needs to "become" whoever "Alpha" really is.
now free of guilt, the part of him that wanted to protect Laura, can finally rest..
this page also makes me sad... specially the final panel, seeing Aden happy trying to comfort Alpha. Alpha already understood and lost the guilt with the rest... but he needs to forgive himself in order to really be free.
personally I think that you can't let the past keep dragging you down... I don't think most of the time people expect you to stay true to a promise, specially a love promise, but I guess Aden really tried, even after forgetting who he once was.
