just a little update... I've been progressing really well in matters of the main comic storyline left to be drawn.

switching from color pages to black and white + color accent GREATLY improved the speed pages get done, and they also made me more happy to draw as I see how the new pages get piled up one after another faster than ever.

I also spend more time in the lineart, making it greater than it ever was.. the new Derideal look and feel is more grit with the use more textures too, which it's something I always had the idea to try out... but always were afraid to test out.

This is a small bit of a training room / meditation room.
Ivory is currently in there, this is sort of how she and Alpha are kept in shape and are oftenly trained.

in Derideal xenos are naturally more agile and strong due their genetic animal traits, but they're not exactly trained to be useful for combat since the start... so Alpha and Ivory were both trained to fight and from time to time they are put in test scenarios (also seen at least with Alpha in the latest legacy episode)

it's a bit different from how xenos get later trained on, maybe someday I should make a small story about it, when in tanks Consortium usually manages to include some information for they to know, and later in the future (project prime/the void) they came out from the tanks a little more prepared, which reduce training times.

anyway, just wanted to share this panel with you, I think I decorared it a bit too much from other scenarios, but idk, I wanted to make something like this in the story sometime.
