Exi lord and lady (BLOG)

I had these sketches laying around since a while. 

I was playing around with the idea of Nova's parents, for a strange story I wanted to make... I'll probably do it as a mini-comic someday, like a short strip probably, if ever.

Nova's father is the leader of the clan Exi, a veteran rabbit, very strict and focused, he was featured in Nova's deadlock episode, wearing the clan armor.

just for fun I made him a normal outfit, something that resemble royalty for me, based off some tunics etc.

Exi clan leadership "rabbit" are different from other rabbits in the clan, the exi leader have a genetic "flaw" that makes them more resistant to pain and more importantly "fear", part training, part genetic advantage that allowed them to become warriors (rare thing in the clan, as most Exi prefer technician jobs)

Nova's father is nameless for now, he follows the clan leadership way, trained as a soldier with Cale in their youth (both have experience with the Guardian clan)

He's strict and can be even cold, always put reason and clan laws over emotions... which causes him to not think much about their kids own whishes.

Nova's is more similar to him, even in personality and traits that give her advantage, which make her the most fit candidate for leadership later.

she's supposed to be a little more mature rabbit, with a good heart and big respect for the clan traditions)
She's a matriarch of the family, which mean she's very respected and was picked by the clan hiearchy as companion of Nova's father.
They're together by mutual respect and affection, yet they don't seem very "close", as Nova's father isn't very affectionate. She understand him and respect the clan ways, but doesn't fully agree over how cold he can be sometimes, which has caused some frustrations over the years.

 Both parents rank high in the clan hearchy (concept), and their kids are supposed to have all of the desired traits, still-- Nova's mother isn't exactly a warrior, and won't ever be.

Nova herself was presented once by the chance to become a clan matron, as alternative to her "soldier" destiny, which she ultimatelly rejected, as she felt her duty lied beyond their family breed, knowing her family has more offspring that could carry out this function.

Nova could have some more sisters/brothers, but that's just a concept for now, as they weren't important for the story, still... I think it would make more sense the clan hiearchy had more Exi matrons. 

PS. these are just notes or ideas I have, not sure if going to be implemented in the story of there'll be a chance to.
