(Update: Due to some possible liability, I had to make a change on her hat from a red cross to a red heart. The Red Cross company takes the red cross logo used in video games very seriously so best to avoid any issues.)

Eh, I would not sweat the details too much. We'll just leave it at magic or steampunk tech and call it a day.
