Thoughts About Streaming

So it's been suggested that I do streams to increase the number of patrons. I had thought of this before, and originally I was going to offer inked raffles before someone pointed out that's against Patreon's terms. The other thing is that in past I've had difficulty with streams, like not being able to use the chat and lesser software support for Mac.

Buuuut I might try out some test streams at random times next month, so keep an eye out. If I manage to smooth out the issues I've had I might replace the inked images with sketch request streams for patrons. I'd only implement this after a month changeover if it happens.

Is there an ETA on when you'd wanna do the first stream?

Testing streams out seems like a good idea. ^_^ And maybe that would be an interesting thought to have polls on sketch stream ideas being upgraded. =o I hope you find a time that works with as many people as possible =)

Ideally they'd be weekly if the $730 goal was met

it counts as gambling

Btw, is there a particular ular reason raffles are verboten? Like not enough ability to oversee whether it's rigged? Either way request stream is a good idea. And OOOOOH, we could then vote on which sketch we'd want to have cleaned up and painted/inked.

I think, if works out, you should do sketch streams either weekly or biweekly. You could probably alternate between times each session.

Yeah, time zones was another reason I hadn't gone with streams initially. Over 60% of my audience is American and Canadian but I don't want to cut out Europeans and Australians, y'know? If weekly updates was reached I could do streams at an alternate time the last stream of every month or something.

Sketch request streams sound good! One problem with streams of course is the difference in time zones - the time could be perfect for you, but some of your patrons will probably be still at work while others are already sleeping...
