Maybe, she can't use her powers while she's changing, or changed, or there's a refractory period on changes like a 'cooling off' period - Do you REALLY want to change back? - or she's used up all her 'manna' points (wo-manna points?) and has to recharge by consuming large amounts of protein and carbohydrates laced with testosterone in a convenient white liquid form, or maybe just sleep, cuddled up with a buxom blonde. That 'bob' is growing on me (not literally, although previously ...). I predict more 'bobbing' of heads in the future.
