Chapter 846: Conversation With Hagen

After training, Su Luo and Emily chose a lively restaurant to have dinner together.

"How's the team doing recently?" Emily asked with concern. She genuinely cared about Su Luo’s football career.

Su Luo put down his knife and fork, smiled, and said,
"The good news is that we’ve been performing well in the league. We're currently top of the table. Our teammates are working hard, and everyone supports each other."

Emily nodded happily. She knew Su Luo was hardworking and determined, and she felt proud of the team’s success.

"What about you? How's work going?" Su Luo asked her in return.

Emily smiled and replied,
"Pretty well. Things have been busy, but fulfilling. There’s a new project launching at the company, and I’ve been appointed as the project leader."

Su Luo admired Emily’s diligence and intelligence.

He understood that whether it’s football or a professional career, success requires hard work and dedication.

As they continued enjoying their meal, their conversation shifted to topics of mutual interest.

Emily smiled softly and said,

The next day, Hagen invited Su Luo for a walk.

They strolled together through the bustling city streets. Sunlight filtered through the trees, casting dappled shadows across the sidewalk.

People hurried past them, and cars weaved through traffic.

Su Luo hesitated slightly, unsure why Hagen was so focused on him.

He wondered if there was something Hagen wasn’t saying — but chose to trust his captain and his expectations.

"Hagen, I hope I can contribute even more to the team. I’ll keep working hard and pushing for victory," Su Luo said, determination shining in his eyes.

Hagen looked at Su Luo seriously, then smiled.
"I believe in you, Su Luo. I admire your attitude — your constant effort and drive to improve. We all believe you’ll succeed."

Su Luo felt warmth spread through him.

It inspired him deeply, knowing someone so influential and respected cared about his progress.
