he has his own life and wants and quitting his job meant he gets at least double the time he used to with his family and goes on vacation sometimes. u dont want him to exhaust himself or get writers block from doing nothing but writing. also in case u havent listened to the 2 youtube interviews ik of that hes posted. he started this novel for himself and for his family to read 1 day if they like. cuz he didnt like how "im a spider so what?" mc turned back to human and stuff, how that ganre has been done to death with at least 3000+ stories of mc monsters/monster characters becoming human where a monster mc staying a monster is only 100+. he posted the 1st 100 chapters online just to share thinking it wouldnt get that popular just a few 100 followers. hes writing what he wants, how he wants, when he wants and were just along for the ride and can volunteer donations. im beyond ecstatic to b reading not just 1 but 2 amazing novels and better yet im even able to support him with some well deserved cash. im sorry for u want all his free time put to writing. would u b writing urself ragged in his place obeying ur fans every whim? if u were itd likely mean degrading health like most other authors have gone thru and eventually quit or burned themselves out.

I like Book of the Dead, but I much prefer Chrysalis. At the rate it is going, the story will end in 10 years. The release rate used to be better before BOTD got made. It’s annoying.

You said you were quitting work to write more but it's been getting worse and worse:( at least for chrysalis. Is it better to wait till you get published instead of paying for 10 chapters a month... Or can you separate it. Fifth Time Immortal is really good. I was enthralled from start to finish and I’m legitimately intrigued to find out more. Dungeon is also really engaging, but The Devil You Know is by far my favourite of the three.

Fifth time immortal is already bloody brilliant, I mean its certifiably a wuxia novel being so esoteric and majestic, but nearly everybody with power is just so petty. Not to mention how that whole first chap is mirrors the thought process of picking up a new cultivation novel XD.

just a passing thought i had and wanted to put it out there, was reading chapter "843 nope" about crinis and was wondering if ud give a thought to a 4th mana element to her fusion (if it hasnt already been fused), i say thought rather than suggestion cuz aside from me not knowing if its already happened or been solidified into future chapters. i realize how much more mana and intelligence and lvling shed need to do to add darkness or something else thats likely available or could b soon to the triple shadow mind curse fusion anthony gave her the idea for. just thought id ask if it was possible for the sake of our crin-crin getting even more terrifying and fun for the story :D already thought chrysalis was amazing and imagining the future of cthulhu or stronger lvl entities like the ancients and crinis's eventual future on the way to their lvl and now this little foreshadowing blowing my mind about how much more awesome it could get. also on a side note for sarah hope she could get a few personal ant healers with mind and healing magic fusions which i would hope to b possible in the future for our love able hulk teddy. lol love ur novel such an amazing work of art in the form of words <3

I pretty much agree with what you've said here. I don't mind the concept of Dungeon but it needs a hefty re-write, some systemic changes and to inject a lot more personality into the MC. I actually really like Devil and would love to write more of it but I think Necromancer is for sure a more appealing story.

I've read all three. I think Necromancer is clearly the best and it's the only one of the three that rivals Chrysalis in quality and interest for me. Dungeon is ok, but it needs some work and changes imo. I got frustrated with how haphazard and uncoordinated his decision making was. Especially considering 98% of the time he's sitting there waiting for mana to generate where he can plan what to do next. The last story 'The Devil You Know' is interesting, but I've not seen enough of it to really judge. There are problems early in the story with a little too much navel gazing. And a lot of internal struggles, which really hurts the pacing and isn't usually a problem with your writing so I think it needs an edit. But of all of them it feels like the most original setting which makes it interesting. So if I was you I'd focus on Chrysalis and Necromancer, then when you finished one of those I'd rework 'The Devil You Know' and develop it.

I'm working on it slowly. There were a few things in necromancer that I wasn't happy with in terms of the broader setting, and I've been wrestling with those for months actually. I don't want to write a ton of necromancer without having a clearer picture of how I wanted the world to be and without the ending clearly in sight. I don't plan much when it comes to Chrysalis, but I've known from the start exactly how it ends. Without that security, I feel so hesitant to write Necromancer that it becomes really hard to write it. I have a couple of chapters written and I'm starting to move forward with it know that I've settled a few of those questions..

I kinda like the fragility of it all. When one of the burrow mates "died" my heart kind of dropped. But i figure that's where upgrading the walls will come in, making it harder to just bypass certain rooms. The dungeon is still learning his first steps... its like playing a dungeon sim with no GUI, no defined rules, no cinematic opening story and now youre just a sentient crystal. It's like having to go to an advanced class and you don't know anything and when they ask if you have any questions and youre just sat there like...uhhhh

Hmmm, dungeon. I like the idea, but it's a little flat and flavorless. The introduction of burrowing enemies at the end sticks the entire stock dungeon idea in a woodchipper. Those points can be a good thing, if this is just the introduction and the MC's going to deviate. I'm interested in seeing how you intend to evolve/mutate the MC out of this. Everything so far kinda reads as "I'm making sandcastles for a boot." That makes it hard to mentally invest in.

Amazing side story would like to see even more of the necromancer I believe the story has real potential and it does not feel rushed like a lot of other story’s would be interesting to know if the piece is set in the same time and place as chrysalis. Even if not the story in my opinion had enough potential to be its own separate piece thanks for sharing 😀

Necromancer: 10/10 I love the bias that Tyron has on Rufus. Rufus seems just like a blunt guy but Tyron obviously views him unfavorably. Maybe for a good reason? Who knows? Excited about how different characters will react.

Dungeon is okay but the protagonist grates on me whereas necromancer and hell are really in line with my tastes, I have to say necromancer is more inline with my tastes than chrysalis but all three are excellent fiction so thank you for the yummy stories

i was reading the "Dungeon" Love it. like what you were doing there. Nice Spin to old format. Now i like dungeon storys as general, so my option might be biased. Till srory has nice flow and turning MC more soft or humane aproch is nice touch. And puting opsites force so strong position, whille buting more breaks in doing things than "Mana" just might Keep MC coming to overpowered. that tend to be thing with this type of Stories. Of course that could go other way around and need auhtor to save the chahters. till I Want to Know What happened next. When nexst one is?

I loving necromancer its real page turner. Also i be fan of Chrysalis for years now. Reading it ever since chapter 20? 21? Well eny way RinoZ your mature nicely as writer form thous times. 5.first chapter flow niecly. Only jarrring part was whene you got "Head hoping" in betwen multipaly chatters in same scenes and chapter. it breaks the imersion.

I keep poking away at it, trying to setup the broader strokes before I keep writing. I've been working on a map, writing up descriptions of the full pantheon and trying to create lists of feats and skills to flesh out the system. I don't want mistakes to happen like they did with Chrysalis. It's all very VERY incomplete though. I haven't had much time to work on writing over the last two months and what time I have goes to Chrysalis (for obvious reasons). But I haven't abandoned any of these side fictions and I keep thinking about them and poking at them when I can. Next year (fingers crossed) they'll have the change to explode!

I loved necromancer a lot. I always was a fan of necromancer protagonist fiction but in contrast to other necromancer web novels, the few chapters alone are not only exciting but obviously well-thought-out. The protagonist doesn't seem like a cardboard cutout and unlike most other necromancer web novels, the story doesn't seem to have the unnecessary fillers and exposition (telling instead of showing). Overall, the writing for this one is leagues above others already and the world seems to have so much potential. I really really look forward to more chapters of Necromancer. We stan

Originally my second novel was going to be called 'the Dark Universe'. It was an apocalypse story where our universe merged with another filled with creatures made of dark matter. I still like that concept :S

thanks to you incredible people, I've been able to apply for less days at work next year. Fingers crossed it comes through and I'll have two full days a week to dedicate to writing. Which will mean 7 Chapters of Chrysalis a week as well as regular chapters of the side fictions.
