Dream Damsels
Added 2018-04-09 06:08:00 +0000 UTCLast night, I dreamt that I'd drawn a peculiar-looking OC -- busty and broad-shouldered, with much shorter hair than I typically draw, and a GIGANTIC white tape gag. Pervy stuff like this appears fairly often in my dreams, but this particular image was so vivid that I had to try recreating it in real life. I'm pretty happy with the result! If nothing else, it inspired me to try drawing something with some actual perspective, which I usually shy away from.

It looks like Lily, but I imagined it as a TF'd version of myself. The face and hairstyle also wound up looking ridiculously similar to an old piece by NickLaw, though that was unintentional. (I wish I could find it now, but it looks like he took it down.) I wound up repurposing the body/pose for this much tamer pic, and a heavily altered version of the head made it into the straitjacket pic in JID4.
The gag was supposed to be sort of like a cross between a cloth OTN gag and a muzzle; in the dream this seemed like some earth-shaking stroke of genius to me for some reason. In reality, it just looks kinda weird. :v Here's a bunch of alternate gags I did.
And here it is with one of my signature weird captions. I hadn't planned to post that when I originally wrote it, so I really let loose with it -- it's quite fucking bizarre. But if bizarre is your thing, feel free to check it out! If you'd like to see more like that, let me know.

You could easily stay stagnant with your art and make money, but it's so cool and inspiring to see you try something different and grow artistically! And also about the captions, personally I do like them, gag talk is a huge part of the fun lol
