2025-08-13 06:32:12 +0000 UTCOikawa going into protective older brother mode is so sweet and is everything I want for this type of relationship between him and Shouyou. It’s a dynamic I absolutely love for them, but what I love the most about this, from a storytelling perspective (and also what absolutely shatters me) is the absolutely emptiness in Shouyou’s eyes and he way he has to tell himself to smile. The way he has to force himself to emote because he doesn’t want Oikawa to know what he’s really feeling even though in the omegaverse there are other tells that he can’t hide, and he has to know that deep down Oikawa would find out, but he’s trying so hard to divert his attention in other ways, but it’s that dead expression that just breaks my heart because it’s SHOUYOU! And Shouyou doesn’t look like that. Shouyou has the sparkle in his eyes! Shouyou is the LIGHT! And to see him dim like that just absolutely crushes me to pieces. 😢
