SHO paused for 1.13 - Switching to single player maps

 Hey guys!  I wanted to let you all know my game plan with 1.13.  As you all mostly know, 1.13 is bringing a lot of new stuff to Minecraft, while at the same time breaking nearly everything that's more advanced than a hopper clock.  :|  

SHO relies on a huge amount of that advanced stuff.   And, it just so happens, that the next dungeon in SHO is underwater themed, meaning I really need 1.13 to do it properly.    Months and months ago, when mapping out what I was going to be doing, I did not envision 1.13 still not being out yet-- if you had asked me back then, if I thought 1.13 would be out, I would have said "Yeah, and SHO will probably updated to it by then too!"  

At this point, I feel that SHO really needs an automated tool of some kind to be updated to 1.13, and it's very likely such a tool will be made (I tried one recently but it didn't work-- still too early).   So my plan with SHO is to pause updates on it until the tools are developed to help me update it to 1.13.  

In the mean time, in order to learn about 1.13 and practice the new commands and learn about the other content, I will be working on the singleplayer SH map Iceolation.   My first task is to convert the cold temperature mechanics of the map into 1.13.  Thankfully this is just one mechanic and while still a respectable job, it is still nowhere near what converting SHO would be like.  

I will also be livestreaming me working on Iceolation (When I work on more visually interesting things.  I don't know if anyone wants to watch me code?  It involves switching windows frequently anyway which is awkward to stream.)  I think this is the smartest thing to do -- I'll be able to release a new singleplayer map, and I'll have Minecraft content for both Twitch and YouTube, all while working on something I think a lot of patrons and fans would really like -- a new map!  

And while I work on this, I am hoping the tools to convert 1.12 to 1.13 will mature.
