Geography chart and playtime stats for PlayStation games on Insight
Added 2021-07-29 20:58:26 +0000 UTCAfter laying the groundwork with our new PlayStation sync system last month, we have now pushed a small update exposing some new data for PlayStation games on Insight:
Geography chart - shows the relative popularity of a game by country (adjusted for the overall number of users from the country)
Average playtime - statistic of the average playtime a user spent in the game
Both stats are as reported by PlayStation's systems and are based on the bigger and more reliable Insight user sample. The same availability as for this same data on Steam game pages applies: average playtime is visible to all users, while the geography chart is exclusive to epic-tier patrons and above.
We are working on getting this same data for XBOX games too as well as on implementing more visualizations based on playtime data, we'll keep you posted. We are also closing in on a release date for Lens.
