PlayTracker League rewards

Great news for the best achievement hunters on PlayTracker: League rewards have been awarded for all previous seasons to all eligible users!

We've changed up the reward structure a bit since the announcement given the results that came in:

• All users on PlayTracker have access to the League card for their profile - no placement on the leaderboard is required, so new users can jump in and show off their results right away
• The top 25% of players globally unlock a special cover image for their profile that fits the seasonal theme
• The top 10% of all players globally unlock a special seasonal champion title for their  profile

The League card can be enabled in the Dashboard like all other profile cards, and will show up first before other cards. We are working on a revamped card system with more cards, the ability to sort the order in which they appear on a user's profile, and even create custom cards to show off laurels from their favorite games.

So why did this take so long?

The way PlayTracker was set up previously was that both titles and covers were tied directly to perfect games. We had to create an entire new system of "unlockables" to be able to grant rewards for League, and we underestimated the effort it took. Soon we will switch even the existing perfect game rewards to the new system, and this will allow us to create the further profile customization rewards systems we have planned.

A better way to keep track of League

We've also added a new section to the PlayTracker Quest page so that under the League leaderboards users can see their score, as well as a preview of the cover and title that they are fighting for in the current season.

The Summer 2021 season is still ongoing, so get that score up and unlock the rewards before it ends on September 1st!

Before we go, here's a sneak peek at the new design for the Achievement page that we are working on now:

The goal of the new design is to make it so convenient that it can replace individual platforms and make PlayTracker users' default place to go to check achievements when needed. If you have any suggestions or comments feel free to let us know!
