An update on what we're working on

As you might have noticed, it's been a while since there's been an update to PlayTracker. I've been active over on the subreddit and addressing people's issues, but I haven't announced any changes in over a month, so I feel like a little communication is due.

As I mentioned when Quest was released, major changes are being made in the background to future-proof PlayTracker by improving security and stability and allowing the system to log more meaningful detail. The meaningful detail I'm referring to is tracking individual achievements for each user, instead of just a per-game total count. This is something that needed to be done to allow PlayTracker to grow and expand in terms of features, but it isn't easy considering the servers were crumbling under load already and the amount of data would grow exponentially eroding stability furhter. This work is close to being finished. What it means for the near future are game pages and improved quests (challenge friends, PSN support), but that's just the start. I think it'll be worth the wait and ask that you be patient.

I'd also like to add that I'm not currently enabling ads regardless of the ad-free goal technically not being met. That doesn't mean patron support is meaningless, on the contrary, it means I value your support more than the number on the page would imply.

UPDATE: I forgot to add that there will not be new quests until this work is finished, and July's quest will remain available for at least a month after the new system is implemented so everyone can complete their quests.

Thank you all for supporting PlayTracker, and as always, I'm here for any questions you might have.
