All new SUPERHAWKS, high/low prices and more!

It's release day - and it's a big one! If you head over to https://brickhawk.com (and if you are already there, make sure you refresh your browser first), you will notice a new "Retailers" menu up top, which reveals...

SUPERHAWKS!

What is a SUPERHAWK? It's a "super" hawk that you can add at the retailer level, and whenever that retailer drops the price on any of their sets (and it meets the price threshold you've set)  you will receive a SUPERHAWK email alert.

SUPERHAWKS are great for catching price drops that are so good that you will want to buy the set regardless of whether you wanted it or not! The idea came from recent sales where we saw price drops in the order of 90%. Who in their right mind wouldn't want a random set for 90% off to stock up their spare parts collection!?

SUPERHAWKS are added to retailers individually, and the minimum price drop is 30% off before they will trigger. This is to ensure we do not set of an email avalanche when standard retailer sales come around, for example all sets on sale for 20% off.

Your Patreon Tier defines how many SUPERHAWKS you can add - 2 for Little Hawks, 6 for Middle Hawks, and 10 for Big Hawks. Only Patreon patrons have access to SUPERHAWKS - it's exclusively for you, to say thank you for your support :)

From the retailers page, you can also click a retailer and see a listing of all of their sets. This area needs some more functionality to be useful, and any thoughts that you might have about how to make it useful would be greatly appreciated.

That's the big news for this release, but there are a couple of extras to tell you about:

Noisy retailers

Recently a retailer insisted on adding and removing "NEW" several times per day to their sets (where they would normally add offers like "CLEARANCE" or "35% OFF"). Receiving emails twice daily - "NEW" / not "NEW" / "NEW" - was getting pretty out of hand, so "NEW" has been filtered out of the offer alerts, to keep the noise down!

High/Low prices on sets

High/Low set prices, e.g. "L$99.00 | H$149.99" for the Mini Cooper

This feature was released a week ago, but if you haven't yet seen it... For each set, you can now quickly see a retailers Low (L$) and High (H$) prices that they have had for set over time. Handy if you want to get a feel for the best (and worst) prices, and much easier than trawling through all of the price changes!

This feature is available as "early access" to Patrons, and will be released to non-Patrons some time in the future.

Search box improved

The search box is now always visible on small screens - previously it was hidden in the hamburger menu.
