Summer Shine. Solid Interlocking crochet in the round

Terminology: all crochet terms used are U.S.
Technique: Double filet crochet, Interlocking filet crochet in the round with solid meshes.
Yarn: for example, Scheepjes Stone Washed
Yarn weight: Sport. Ball weight: 50 g, yarn length:130 m (142.17 yds).
Gauge: 10 stitches in 5cm (2”) by 5 rows in 5cm (2”) in dc stitch pattern.
Using a different gauge won’t affect the design, but it will change the finish size and the amount of yarn needed.
Hook 3.25 – 3.5 mm. Hook size needed to match the gauge.
Yardage approx. 3000 meters of Sport weight yarn for each of your two colors, which is a total approx. of 6000 meters of yarn.
(3280 yards per colors, a total of 6560 yards of yarn for each color)
Size: 150 cm by 150 cm (59 by 59 inches).
The use of other types of yarn can greatly affect the amount of yarn needed.
