Tixati for Android
Added 2024-12-13 12:32:15 +0000 UTCAfter nearly a year in that making, there is now a Tixati version for Android!
It is currently only available in raw APK format on the main Tixati web site, but will soon be on the main app stores. So far, it seems to run very well on all devices.
The Android version is a bit more simple than the desktop version for now. Channels, RSS, and IP Filter are missing, but will be added soon. The main issue has been making all these things usable on small screens. But it will get done, it's just a matter of time.
Just as a reminder, we also now have an Android version of DarkMX, which is another file sharing app I created a few years ago that runs on the Tor network.
More big updates are in the pipeline, so please stay tuned!

Yes, I think this is a very good idea. I will implement this soon, hopefully before the end of the year. We already have Tixati for Android, but I will also make a remote control app so the desktop app can be controlled when you are away.

2025-04-16 15:20:34 +0000 UTCIf you're not already working on it, is it possible that you could make a "remote" mode where I can turn on something similar to the web interface on my PC and use the Android app to interact with the PC's client (add/remove/start/stop/etc.)?
