Soph gets teary-eyed because Al caught her being an otaku. "hey, there's no reason to be ashamed You looked so happy just now---could I see that smile again, Soph-chan?"--- this is where the montage of them doing otaku things over the next couple days happens. Them playing arcade games, Soph showing Al her waifu figure collection etc. Would end with them playing video games at her house to set up for them getting intimate on the couch.
