When we started to code this tool, we only meant to have something that we can use in our editing room. One day, we uploaded it for free on GitHub and, ever since, we received a lot of interesting and useful feedback from people that are doing cool stuff.
This helped us not only to improve the tool, but also to fine tune our editing process.
However, there's a lot of work involved when coding stuff that's usually experimental, but state-of-the-art. There's also a lot of work involved in making the tool available for people that don't know how to use Python, or GitHub, or a smart toothbrush, or even how to upgrade from Windows 95, but we'd really like to help everybody adopt this new tech, in a way that is open and free from any barriers or restrictions.
So, here we are, starting up this Patreon page to gather support and slowly build up a community in order to focus more on the development of the tool, but also to learn together what is possible when you combine AI with filmmaking.
For example, one thing that we really want to do as soon as possible, is to connect the tool with GPT-4 for video content summarization, content based outlines and even deeper search, but this requires not only time, but also cash to be spent on experiments and optimizations.
