Added 2024-07-23 03:38:30 +0000 UTCHello everyone and happy Movie Monday! Since we're in the middle of summer, I thought it would be fun to watch Ferris Bueller's Day Off! I saw this movie when I was a little kid and remembered it being so fun and just had to see if it was as good as I remembered!
Ferris Bueller wants one last adventure before graduating high school. With the help of his best friend and girlfriend, he skips school and enjoys the amazing city of Chicago. However, Bueller's arch nemesis, principal Rooney, is on to him and plans on doing anything he can to stop him from having fun.

I think for all the guys who saw this movie when we were young, we all wanted to be Ferris when we got to high school, but deep down, we all knew we were gonna be Cameron. And we all wanted a girl like Sloane! There is a big fan theory about this movie that it all takes place in Cameron's head. Ferris is a guy he sort of knows from school and Sloane is the girl he's in love with and he wishes his family loved him the way he imagines Ferris' loves him. So the whole day is just his dream and he wakes up with the confidence to stand up to his dad and take control of his life.
