From what I've read, this anime helped encourage girls in high school to join the different after school music clubs. Also, notice the lack of smartphones in the show, back in 2009 there were not that many smartphone around, especially ones that took pictures, hence the camera in their group photo at the end. As Vlad mentioned, Jeff is considered one of the best rock guitarist starting in the 60's up until his untimely death in 2023, he was only 78 and was still playing gigs. He was always experimenting with new sounds and techniques. Playing jazz, fusion, blues and just about all other genres . There's a saying that when you talk about great guitarist, there's Jeff Beck and then there's all the rest.
