Comic Report #130.2 - Textless(?)

Howdy! I got a textless page to share with you today. Or, kinda textless. I'm gonna be putting it right up on the main site after I send this post, but I want to keep with my practice. I think this is the first page like this where I'm encountering this situation in, uhh, maybe the entirety of the time I've been doing these write-ups. I'll post about that a bit, and then I'll put the comic up on the site for realsies.

So! What I usually like to do on here is post the full artwork for a page without any of the word balloons on it. I think my comic art is novel, and there's a lot of little details I like to include, so posting them here without the words on them is, I think, a nice service to offer. For the next ten pages, there's not gonna be word balloons, but text will be integrated into the background art itself, as it is here. Thus, I don't know if I can post a proper "textless" page for the next few pages, not just because the lettering is there, but because it might look broken without the lyrical aspects of the background, which is a problem omitting word balloons doesn't share. I'll try to weigh whether they look good or not in the future, but for this one, in at least one panel the letters themselves are casting shadows on the background, so they gotta stay here.

The next page in the plan looks like it might be a lot easier to draw than this one is, with a lot fewer characters in it. I'm gonna get right to work on it and have something to report for Saturday, but I'm gonna try to also cut the production time down and get it out maybe in the first half of November. I need to go faster for this to really "work", so here I go.
