It's the faint cries of a baby in the unseen distance that's making for me lol

Tbh I’m surprised The Magnus Archives didn’t do an episode set in the Path, that place has massive Spiral vibes

To be fair, the connection is not that weird. Montréal's way of calling it "réso" (I know for sure that when you enter through the Bank Scotia entrance, there is a sign saying metro and réso) and the idea of having an "underground city" so people keeps shopping during the cold winters... makes sense for both cities. As someone who worked downtown for a couple years, it did remind me getting lost between PVM, Promenades de la Cathédrale, the union station and Eaton Center. And surfacing at the Bay is indeed a very specific Canadian experience :') I do wonder if people unfamiliar with Toronto think of the path as this "famous underground city" as French tourists think of the réso in Montréal hahaha

This reminded me so much of Montreal, weirdly — wandering through underground mall tunnels, occasionally surfacing and going, “is this the Bay?” … such a specific regional Canadian experience. 11/10 would watch while having an especially tasty snack
