In Chapter 103, Alexander already knows what kind of book he will print first, and you can decide what it will be. Depending on it, the development of the fief (especially the first students) for the first years will be redirected in certain directions, changing the fief accordingly.

I honestly thought that everyone would choose sci-fi because of the perks and direction, but nope, it's Fairy Tales. It is a real surprise to me.

It just depends on whether he's going for the long game immediately and getting the next generation on board using fairy tales, or if he wants the immediate support of the populace with dystopia/utopia. The latter is a good choice if he wants people to see his POV while he's holding court. Then again, who's to say fairy tales can't be for grown-ups. Eg. Once Upon a Time in History by Riley Formi. 🤷choices, choices...
