A happy new year to all of you.

I'm sorry about the lack of updates over the past weeks. I tried to get the new demo out, but it just didn't feel good enough to me, I know that I'm failing at my own perfectionism and I have to find a better balance.

Also I got sick over the past one and a half weeks, nothing serious but enough to make unable to work a lot on this game. This is hardly the reason why there isn't a new version yet though, but it shows me, once again, that I have to get better at the project management part of this game.

For the new year:

To everyone who supported me so far, I want to say a huge thanks to all of you. I'm very unhappy myself about how badly I managed the project so far. I don't hold a grudge against any of you who stopped supporting me in the last months. I will make sure to send out a download key, according to the tier you supported me at, once the next demo is out. If you want you can also stop support right now and you will still get a download key once the demo is out.
I'm of course also grateful for every single one of you who keeps supporting me, despite my lack of updates and often long stretches of silence. This whole thing is a passion project for me and I just have to get to a point where I can give something back that feels worth it for all the trust (and money) you put into me. I'm truly sad about how things have went so far and will try my best to improve in the future. Ultimately if I won't be able to put out updates (and polls) in some kind of regular schedule I will most likely put this patreon on hold and just keep working on this project in silence until it is mostly finished. Because without constant updates I can't justify you spending your hard earned money without getting anything back. (I could set this patreon to "per creation". There are some aspects I don't like about that, but if things keep going the way they have been over the last year it would be the only reasonable way if I want to keep a patreon at all.)

Once more a huge thanks for all the support and positive resonance I've gotten. I'm still happy about every second I get to work on this project.  I will keep working on this no matter what and put in as much time as I can manage.

A happy new year to all of you.

Sorry about the late answer, the new post should answer your questions (I really have to change my patreon to get emails whenever someone comments a post).

Thanks for the encouraging words. The weekly updates will generally be very short most of the time and end up more like bullet lists of what I did during the week. I will try to make more smaller posts on twitter in the future. I definetely feel you on the polls part, I will try my best to get back to doing them again this month and hold at least one each month from now on.

I think weekly Dev updates would be a nice target to set, but I think monthly Dev Updates with more "Content" and maybe some smaller posts and Polls(!) about what you are working on would be better, because you have enough time to get stuff complete within a "cycle" without having to push yourself to hard and you get feedback / suggestions while doing so anyway, I am looking forward to playing the demo and seeing the project progress (Also, a certain degree of "perfectionism" early in the development would have saved a lot of failed project on this site... so dont feel bad about it and most important, don't lose your enthusiasm while working at the project :) )

Sir Bangalot

And do you have any release date with that? Or a completion percent ?
