Selena Gomez as Sabrina Marquez - a goth girl who always means trouble and get's Emily in different difficult situations, she is a bad influence on Emily, because all her ideas that involve Emily are going to result in Emily getting the blame instead while Sabrina escapes from trouble
Billie Eilish as Betty Thompson - a smart nerd girl who was at the same school and university as Emily, she could have achieved higher in her life, but she always limited herself to the same level as Emily and go to the same school and university she went, since she has a big obsession and crush on Emily, no matter how many times Emily refused her she will just try again. Betty also has a problem with her anger, she can get angry very quickly and change her shy behavior toward someone
STORY:
Emily straight out refused Sabrina's plan involving her, because she got in too much trouble because of her, so she just leaves making Sabrina quite angry, that someone like Emily, a nobody who almost lives on the streets can refuse her. She said she will regret this decision.
Emily left and was now on her way to Mrs. Kane while looking back to check if someone was following her because she feel she was being watched, but maybe it is just her imagination. Suddenly Betty Thompson showed up waving to Emily while Emily waved back really annoyed to see that nerd again who loves her so much for some reason. Betty tries to have small talk with her, but from behind indeed someone was watching, and it was Sabrina who followed Emily. Betty tried to ask Emily out on a date, but she straight out refused repulsed by Betty's appearance, and runs away leaving Betty sad but she quickly changes becoming angry. Sabrina sees this event maybe as an opportunity for her.
Emily finally arrives at Mrs. Kane's house, which is bigger than she last remembered when she was here, like much bigger, she is amazed and rings the door and after a few seconds, Mrs. Kane opens the door looking at Emily who was smiling and excited for what comes next. Mrs. Kane tells Emily that she really needs a shower, she is really dirty.
Meanwhile, Betty was left alone in her anger when suddenly Sabrina approaches her from behind Betty looks confused at her not knowing what she wants, Sabrina tells her that she is a friend of Emily and she needs her help with something that Emily refused to do, will she accept? YOU DECIDE!
