Those of you who have been on my patreon for a while may recall that my cat passed away a few months ago, and this week I adopted two cats from the local shelter. No one can replace the cat I lost but I can give a cat a good home and I felt ready. These last few days have been emotional and busy so I was distracted from my work.

Congrats on your adoption! I have two rescues we’re trying to find good homes for if anyone is in the central Mississippi area and interested. We try to help as much as we can. One of the cats in the neighborhood colony was our friend and she was so sweet but unfortunately she was suffering from horrible pain the other day and we rushed her to the vet. We had to have her put to rest because her brain was swelling and she had gone blind from it also she had been shot previously (maybe someone’s stray bullet we don’t even know) and I think the metal toxicity was leaching into her system. I hate to think of her horrible headache she must’ve had and she was so confused and scared 😭. We miss her.
