It was a day of infamy
As the world did burn around me
I could not trust what my eyes could see
How could this be?
My own brothers and my sisters
Turned against us without reason
How could they resort to treason?
Words of peace need not be spoken
I gathered those that still could fight
Weak and scattered, but unbroken
By the coming blight
I held my lasgun in my hands
Of these troops, I took command
Brave soldiers to the end
We will make our final stand
As the hordes draw near
I will know no fear
Outnumbered and outgunned
We shall remain until the day is won
As insects they may see us
But we will fight as one
On this day, we're godkillers
We shall see their plan undone
As the battle rages on
A bolt of flashing light
An eclipse caught within my vision
That which robbed me of my sight
I was not where I once stood
But that was all I understood
Inside the Vengeful Spirit's halls
What horrors lurked inside these walls?
I carved a path through hate and doom
And found myself upon the throne room
A traitor standing tall
A glorious angel, there did fall
I turned my gaze upon my liege
Our final hope against this siege
The Lupercal prepared to strike him down
But from my lips escaped a sound
Hold! My lord shall not taste your wrath
For I shall end your warpath
Raise your maul, fallen one, and fight
I'll not move and hold the line
Strike me down, eternity I'll embrace
For tens and hundreds more shall take my place
Though the wrath of gods I'll incur
I'll fear naught for I'm the harbinger
