Multiple Channels vs Single Channels, Delegation, and Hiring

Comments

I always struggle with a recommendation on this topic, to give to creators I support. I think generally I go with 1 channel, since almost no one achieves that 3 quality videos per week threshold you mention. The exception i've been making is content creators who work with music, I've been recommending a separate channel for any musical content that is DMCA "grey area", to keep it away from their original and monetizable content.

Its all about the brand baby!

This is a great video! Puts work load and where I'm at time wise/ability into real world application. My question, pivoting slightly; I've made mistakes in my content path, focused on a main game, went all in, got burnt out and changed, rinse and repeat. This has caused a lot of dead subscribers on my youtube channel AND most importantly it looks like my new videos are being reccommended to people no longer interested in my content (indicated by horrible Click Through Rates 2-5% for views under 100) Should I look at starting fresh? New Channel, branding (socials, twitch etc) or persist through my current channel (900+ subscribers) and slowly change my audience to something I can sustain, which I've found.

This was very informative. I work & mod for some small creators who have interest in variety games and IRL topics. I can see a lot of discouragement when the audience shift happens during content changes. This video coupled with Oli Steele's fantastic explanation of "creating a journey" for the fans and alternating days that each game is uploaded to give the fans some consistency and something to look forward to is absolutely great information. There seems to be a trend of "Not asking for help" or "Not knowing how to ask for help". I hate to be that guy that is like "Here are ways to make your channel/brand better" ---unprompted. But I can see certain creators are trying and could definitely benefit from this Nash knowledge. lol I would love to be able to put help smaller creator grow but how does one help without being asked? And my channels have no love because I prioritize working and other personal projects over them, so it wouldn't do anyone justice to use myself as an example.

also there is a way to make amazing growth on tiktok. I hit 40k in a month. I can help you out and give you some tips about it, if you want!

this is great thank you!
