PSA: Switching to Subscription Billing
Added 2022-09-26 21:06:38 +0000 UTCPatreon has finally rolled out an update to billing, you'll now be charged a month after you join rather than on the first day of the new month.
E.g. If someone joins Oct 14, they'll be recharged Nov 14.
Not sure how this affects anyone currently subbed!

2022-09-29 05:24:47 +0000 UTCSubscription billing will not affect anyone who's been subscribed to someone since August (anyone who was charged on the 1st of this month) It's unclear, however, how people who subscribed to a Patreon in the same month as, but before the creator switched to subscription fees will be billed. Based on the verbage used, I assume that they too will be billed on the 1st of the following month. Lastly, as explained above by Salsen, anyone who subscribes from now on to a "subscription billed" creator will be charged on the same date of the next month from when they subscribed.
