Sharing some stuff I’ve drawn recently! I should have a new short comic uploaded tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I’m finally on a proper summer break and it really is doing wonders for the soul. Very happy to be able to draw and share more than before.

1. You know how many waterfowl have their heads tucked into their feathers when asleep? Swordfish does that too :) No nice soft feathers for him though. Juvenile dragons do not have hardened scales and tough, leathery wings - not until adulthood.

2.-3. Scrapped “horse” comic. The joke was going to be that the dragon was just there to let his hatchlings pet the horse. I do like the concept still, so I still might do some sketches of it. I dropped it because drawing houses and coloring-shading a village took way too long and I just wanted to draw pretty dragons 🙄 I admire anyone who enjoys doing environmental art.

4. Head concepts for Avoryx the Merciless, the Undying Menace, the Damned Soul of Kingdoms, the.. honestly we might need a nickname for her. The bottom left is what I settled for her, with some slight adjustments (end result was posted previously). The top one was too Smaug-like and the bottom right didn’t carry the whiskers too well - too bulky for that. I’m really happy with the sleek head design, you can tell where Hopper inherited her spikiness (spikyness?) and whiskers, but they’re still different, both looks-and personality-wise.

5. Just some raptors ^^ One possibly infested with fleas and two plotting world-domination, perhaps. They’re of the same character actually, I was experimenting with what she could look like.
