0.5 Development Update 13

Hey, folks!

First of all, let me express my gratitude to all of you who voted in last week’s impromptu poll and commented on the post. Thank you, folks. I am very much humbled by your concern for my well-being. Rest assured, I won’t be killing myself dead over the game, but I am still passionate about it and want AHITR to live up to all your expectations. I still haven’t decided on the release schedule, but now I know that I have a few options.

I can safely say there won’t be another release this month, though. We just started on the next update this week. It’s going to contain at least 5 more events for Lyriel, and some of those will be multi-part events. I really don’t know how to describe the amount of content, since the last release technically only had 4 events. But there were at least 10 “encounters” with Lyriel in there, so…Well, basically, it should be about as big as the last update.

The Lyriel’s main story will progress to the point of… Yes! That one thing most of you have been waiting for!

I’ll try to make it worth the wait.

She’ll also have a separate new event, which will start out like this:

In addition to all that, the other artist already started working on another scene with the elven barmaids. The Dignitaries decided on these three parts for the scene:

And as always the case with group scenes, it’s going to be a lot of work. We’ll try to include it into the next update, but maybe we’ll push it back. The main Lyriel’s content takes precedence.

And while we’re working on this update, I commissioned yet another person to do a set of environments for the next major story advancement. This time it’s gonna be Cait’s.

As you can plainly see, it's very, very WIP right now, but the progress is solid, and it should look just right after we're done with it. In case you're wondering, Cait is going to be visiting her alma mater. She’s also going to catch up with some of her old friends and acquaintances. You're going to meet some of them, too!

Probably should’ve held some of this back, huh? Will struggle to produce enough new content for the next dev update now. At least I’ll have a Wednesday Nipple to share. This week was St. Paddy’s day, so I thought we could use someone green for the occasion.
