Lemme tell ya, folks, this g-d M/W/F posting schedule on Patreon is really becoming a problem for me, for reasons I might explain in greater detail down the road.

With no g-d worktime this morning to finish the Distressed Damsels sketch set (for the $5+ tiers) already underway, here's a hastily flung-together Life Drawing post featuring a pair of analog pencil sets from December 2017, at the very start of my near-daily sketching kick:

Note the "graphite squiggles" rendering approach, which is pretty much still what I do nowadays (albeit in digital fashion) for shading-intensive pieces.

Such was my dedication at the start of this Life Drawing effort that I apparently drew a second set later in the workday:

Yeahp, I was already running into value ranges of shading that my "squiggly" pencil technique was ill-suited to render; even nowadays, my artistic approach remains better suited to higher-contrast shading ranges.

Wellp, I'm off to tackle the four other g-d mundane tasks I have to get outta the way this morning; I won't get any more artistic or creative worktime accomplished until later in the afternoon, and even then I'll be (very) lucky to get in an uninterrupted hour's worth of drawing. To quote Emp from Empowered, "Sigh."
