Health Update

Back from Adventist HealthCare White Oak Medical Center which was most recommended since they just opened this new location a month or so ago, and it's least likely to be crowded or contaminated with ...potential illnesses.

The facility did not disappoint, and actually made me feel better about my situation being in such a modern and clean looking hospital.

I mentioned my situation and it seemed they were trying their hardest to determine if it was COVID-19. I do not blame them but it did get a tad annoying.

Although they asked me what was the recent issue that brought me to the ER, the previous ongoing issue I had been having trouble with for months became their primary objective.

Ignoring the new issue that just started days ago which brought me into the hospital to begin with,

the Nurse and Doctor both a pursued the prior issue with multiple test.

I was told by the nurse and the doctor if the screening for that thing has anything suspicious they will do a more invasive test that will include a look into the reason that brought me into the ER.

After I got my test results back, the doctor stated the results from all were normal, therefore the reason I came to the hospital is not enough of an emergency to check for what brought me into the hospital.

Despite the results of the test bringing me some peace about what I had been dealing with for months, the new part of my upper body causing me issues was not tested. It redacted most of the comfort I got from hearing the results. The doctor could not find any issues from one part of me I had been having issues with therefore he was not going to examine the new part of me that's causing me problems now.

So as I pleaded with the doctor and nurse that I was still experiencing issues with this part of me, and they continued to state they can't unless it was determined by them to be an emergency. The doctor eventually gave the example [b]"if I had gotten shot for example, then we can examine further"[/b] I guess all people going to this ER has to be critically injured equivalent to being shot to get the level of medical treatment I required to leave in better health.

I was told to seek further examination for the issue I was still experiencing issues with, at a clinic or elsewhere. I searched around and it has been difficult to find someplace else without doctors notes addinal doctors visits, and stuff I can't afford more than that visit I can't really afford.

I demanded detailed results, and hesitant the doctor complied. I understand a bit of what I see and that has at least brought me some ease of mind about the first problem I had.

So I sit here now with the same new issue I went in with at about the same intensity.

Our health care system here is just troublesome.
