After loosing last weekend to travel, I hit the ground running.
Though I could spend at least 3 dedicated weeks fixing things, I spent much of this one knocking out as many quality of life improvements as I could. π Fall of Haven should be far more intuitive now! While I felt like I only fixed 30% of it's issues, that's pretty massive for me to knock out in a single week. While there is still a LONG road to go, it's not a bad time to jump in and try it yourself!
While I started the next TOTS scene, I was unable to finish it this week. Due to size constraints, I'm still quite concerned that I may have already passed the point that the content I make won't be able to be added to the playable tease. Regardless, you should expect the new ending and much more next week!
Fall of Haven π
π¨ NEW Dash Mechanic! Completely replaces "melee mode" and now will fly backwards at the press of right click. Will now be used to also activate special abilities from some elemental weapons.
π NEW Stop Mechanic! You can now click the player to stop in your tracks and then click anywhere to start walking, flying, or dashing to your heart's content!
π‘οΈ New Holy Armored Underwear! If you have excess holy shards burning a hole in your wallet why not spend them on some spiffy armored undergarments? They will keep you covered and chaste no matter what my come your way. (For now...)

βοΈ NEW Melee Weapon Slot! Disables one ranged weapon to double sword recharge time. With "melee mode" replaced by the dash I wanted another way for the player to more effectively fight in close quarters for their chosen build. This new weapon slot also allows the player to avoid shooting enemies that thrive from ranged aggression. Furthermore, it allows me to create elemental melee weapons eventually! (I have most of the art already)
π NEW Sword ready animation! Makes it a bit more obvious if you are ready to start swinging and making more holy shards! Somewhat placeholder even though I'm happy with the way it turned out on male side.
π» Ghost Possession effects added! Still more to come but now it has an additional level, status bar, and minor NSFW impacts from having it really high.

Ghost now drains life when possession full.
Player now has hurt and arousal image states again while fully possessed. (I had them layered wrong)
Due to a several month oversight, I just now realized that the girl's sword wasn't sheathed. I have had that sheath art since near the beginning and forgot to use it. It's here now! (old shadow is also removed)
Water/cliffs/other obstacles no longer block line of sight. I had original plans for them to but things were never working as intended. Should make an easier user experience now.
Depth act 4 boss code overhauled to not get stuck and be far more fair/interesting.
Boss special effects added.
Boss should spawn every time now. (sorry...)
New get-up placeholder animation to make what the player needs to do be more obvious.
More statues and types added to Depths Act 4.
Depths act 4 monster lineup slightly adjusted.
Cave orcs now actually hurt you with their attack now.
More tesla coils added to all Depths levels.
Missing endless pit code added to some Depths act 4 areas.
Fixed gear activations from randomly appearing in places.
Venom weapon now should limit itself to a single spawn at once and deactivate when weapon is switched.
More shrines spawn in Terra Act 1.
Terra Act 3 leaves falling added.
Additional explosions for Kinetic weapon and even more after level 4!
Kinetic Orbital strike/Heaven's wrath now activated by dashing instead of timer.
Kinetic different effects hitbox timing cleaned up.
Electric weapon now fires the direction the player is facing. Such a little change that needed more experience to figure out.
Made new graphical layer for underwear. This won't really affect you other than the knowledge this took a long time to re-order everything and could create visual bugs.
Electric levels over 1 now displayed correctly.
Orc spearman movement hopefully will not allow it to walk off of cliffs anymore.
Some death animations should lay on floor better.
Enemies shouldn't hit player during their hurt animation.
Shortened spire beam length by 30% so hopefully it won't hit you from a mile away.
