The great news is that with less IRL issues this week I was able to put a TON of work into the games. The bad news is that my planned tasks were way buggier and harder to pull off than expected. I apologize to everyone for yet ANOTHER late upload.
Though I was not able to finish the Keystroke Hospital Zone boss, work was well underway and she will be coming to the next Funday Friday! I did put a lot of time into Keystroke as promised but sadly the big Keystroke week has to be delayed by one more.
In other news: This update marks the biggest Fall of Haven release yet! (I did not plan it that way...)
And what you were all waiting for: I hope you are ready to enjoy not one but TWO additional Caprice endings for Trials of the Succubi! Over 200 graphically enhanced photos await your enjoyment!

βοΈ NEW FEMALE PLAYABLE CHARACTER! This addition alone unexpectedly took me about 25 hours this week alone to implement. Some parts are still a work in progress and placeholder. Regardless, it is exciting to finally be able to use a fraction of the female art I've been sitting on for months now!

NEW Expanded Second Area!
Explore the forest and be careful not to get caught off guard by the:
NEW "Swamp Moose" enemy! (Technically they attack with forest magic but swamp moose sounded more humorous). Your tricks against the moose miniboss won't work here when they ambush you! This was the first enemy I tried my own pixel editing skills for.

π₯ New Fire Level 3! In honor of Helldiver's 2 (Which I still haven't played...) - Call in an orbital strike (heaven's wrath) on your enemies! Every few sections your cursor turns into a targeting reticle that will call down the wrath of the heavens upon wherever you point it!

π₯ New Fire Level 4! Heaven's wrath now deals additional splash damage and all fire effects create sparks which explode on any enemy in it's falling path.
For the third attempt, hopefully fire weapons don't one shot enemies with a direct hit now.
π Revised Water Level 3! Now creates water portals that refill your projectiles as if you were standing in water.

π NEW Holy Level 2! Picking up holy shards now grants a shield that will block the next attack! Thankfully holy weapons have lots of ways to generate more!

Holy bounce attack moved to level 3 and holy shard requirements heavily reduced.
π NEW Holy Level 4! Picking up holy shards now also nukes all enemies on screen!

New intro and menu! (I am still trying to figure out how to fade the UI in but in the current version it looks like it is just waiting to load.)
Teleportation altar at start has been overhauled with new animations and art.
Tutorials no longer pause the game. Functionality still needs some work but I think it leads to a better experience - let me know if I'm wrong.
Statues now have distortion effect and glowing eyes when active.
Fixed when statues deactivate so they aren't shooting at you as you pick up the artifact anymore.
Several move speeds adjusted further.
Slight blindness opacity reduction for those who choose to adopt the darkness. I was born in it.
I learned how to add white masks over sprites so flashes added to several weapon impacts to make them feel more noticeable.
You now start with 4 hearts instead of 3. (A reminder that the actual game probably won't have a "game over" per se)
β€οΈ Added additional maximum heart. (and future functionality for 2 beyond that)
8 less kills are needed to get to miniboss and less enemies on starting map.
Attack projectiles now originate from player weapon instead of floating sometimes.

Running into either wilding in their attack animation now damages player. (previously it only had hurt animation)
Removing lust hearts now only requires mouse over instead of click.
Added and adjusted a few minor screen shakes.
Improved bee girl's collision map. Her shadow won't hurt you anymore and is more optimized now.
Different player in download this week - let me know how it compares to the last. I'm hoping this one works better with Linux without making a separate download.

Kylie bath now actually lets you leave her when you don't spy on her. Different outcomes depending on how long you spent with her.
