How to React to New Information about a Subject You Thought You Knew Well

Phil was the man.

It’s hard to make the extent to which he was “the man” clear to people who weren’t there, in the 1980’s, in America, and who were not me.

I took to wearing ill-fitting suit jackets.

I wore out my copies of ‘No Jacket Required,’ and ‘Invisible Touch.’

I watched the film ‘Buster,’ in it’s entirety. I think I may be the only person in America to do so.

I’m bummed that Genisis already had what they called their last performance before the Sphere, in Las Vegas was created. They could really leverage the hell out of that thing. But, alas, Phil said they wouldn’t ever go on tour again, and it’s not like them to go back on that sort of thing.

I have no problem with Casio, but try to picture Tony Banks using one, back in the day. Especially one of the ones that had little buttons instead of full keys!

I liked the duet, but I know not everyone did. I wish they'd also done Watcher of the Skies, but again, I am a man of particular tastes. You know, Peter Gabriel is out on tour right now. Tony and Mike are still healthy enough to perform, so I suppose Genesis could tour again. They'd jsut have to get a different drummer (Likely Phil's son." it would depress em terribly, but I would probably go see them.

I don't know why the Casio slander. Mine gave me a solid rizz quotient back in the day! :P

Not with you on this one. 'Carpet Crawlers '99' where Phil and Peter Gabriel duet was a very bad idea. For Phil's vocals' fans. (What a song, though!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23cUcLKc374
