2022-07-31 00:26:36 +0000 UTCWhat I will say about this movie is that while it is based on real life, there are some things that were added for dramatic reasons that never happened in real life. One of the major cases of this is the fact that Reggie never abused Frances and certainly never raped her, she seperated from him because she couldn't handle the gangster world but ultimatley for her it was a sort of "Can't live with him, can't live without him" type of situation which led her to doing what she did. Despite there being things that are so unfair to be attributed to people who are no longer alive to refute the things depicted, it's still a great movie when you take it as a dramatised version of someones story. It's one of my favourite gangster films and i'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I thought you would.
