Getting into an abusive relationship after you've already lived through a similar experience in the past does NOT mean you are "silly" or stupid. Very often it takes a LONG time before an abuser shows their real face and by then it might already be too late to get out. Maybe you thought you already had found the perfect person to be with and they were so different from your past abuser. Sometimes the abusers use this information to present themselves as the complete opposite to that past abuser, but eventually they end up being the same shitty pricks. Please don't think that she's portrayed as weak, she really isn't.
