Man, is this dude seriously gonna blue ball us like that?! I want to see this giant bitch get bigger and step on some shit already!... Anyway, manic ramblings aside, here's our progress on Grand Dawn so far. Unfortunately due to Shizune's model requiring a bit more attention than anticipated, I wasn't able to animate all that much of the video. However! To compensate for that I've (finally) added all those silly little extra scenes for the forsaken Aegir video that, at last connect that whole abomination into one big ass video. All that's left now is for those little bits to get an audio pass, round it all off and then just have those pesky newbie errors fixed that completely destroy your immersion.
Additionally, I've worked on some growth animations for a certain Skyrim mod (Size Matters), you might have heard of before since Pecu, our beloved audio wizard has already made a few contributions to it earlier this year (or last idfk). Don't spend too much time on complex looking models for robots that fight because the giant chick is going to destroy them anyway probably? haha Full aegir with sound is coming!

I just want to make as much as possible to keep everyone happy but it's becoming more and more difficult to keep pushing the quality and craziness in every consecutive video. 2024-10-07 10:59:23 +0000 UTCWe can't string them together right away because the audio tracks don't line up seamlessly between each part, especially with the new intro and in between scenes now added in. As those parts are seamlessly blended together I'm re-rendering those errors mentioned too, two birds with one stone. We'll upload it as a 4K video once that's all done which shouldn't really take long at all, it's not really a high priority for us at the moment though so we're just doing that on the side.

Personally would much prefer all the audio completed clips strung together as opposed to any "newbie errors" being fixed (hint: there are none, the whole thing is top tier)

Also, the Aegir video is coming together nicely. I'll admit I do have a pet peeve wishing the initial growth scenes were in 3rd person. But with all of these added scenes for context, I'd say you guys have already outdone yourselves with the level of detail in that video. 😁

The new inbetween and beginning scenes for the aegir animation looked really nice, i am looking forward to the sound version for sure! And ofcourse the thing im most excited for Grand Dawn updates Evie's cookies seem to turn out well love that, Shizune looked quite defeated while playing some games (i think she was playing games). got to see some more abilities being used as well as some more vehicle action. will always patiently be waiting for more exciting updates!
