Everything is vector and in symbols, so I can just resize the eyes if I want. No portrait rework. I still like the shape, color, etc. I'm just thinking they might be slightly too big. If I did resize, it would be a pretty minor adjustment.

I don't know why but I prefer the right face. I like how she's frowning with her mouth open like D: makes her cuter to me. Also I may be partial to the blush lines lol

Definitely prefer portrait with smaller eyes. It may seem weird, but I find that one more expressive, and it turn more appealing, than the one on the left.

I don't want to be the one to trigger another portrait rework, but I must agree. I prefer the slightly smaller eyes on the left...she looks more beautiful there.

I like the face on the left one better. I'm not all that fond of either from the waist down, probably because a straight on, stand up straight, pose isn't usually flattering to anyone

Well, I got the "never be happy with their work" down pat. Although, after it sits awhile, generally, I'm proud of my work. I'm damn proud of where the prologue ultimately ended up, I just nitpick the crap out of anything new and tend to waste too much time tinkering with details that you can't even see in 640x480 resolutions... I'm getting better though. Got to remember, 2-3 month turn around, 2-3 month turn around, if I want this sucker to work.

Thanks, I agree. I actually think in general my artwork has slowly moved away from "cartoony" a bit. Not totally, as that I what I like, but I've seen it in the expressions and body proportions in recent stuff.

Wow, really impressive work. The picture on the left comes off a little more emotive and less cartoony. It's subtle and very pretty, nice job.

I think you should leave the right one. The left one, although being very well drawn, just creates the impression that Alaya was shy and bashful from the very beginning. To my opinion you should add a little bit of calm anger to the eyes of the right picture. Yes, she is lifting the skirt, but she is looking right at you, as if scornfully asking "Are you satisfied, you dumbass pervert?"

Ah, that makes more sense. I was wondering, as I've never really seen elves with emotion portrayed in their ears.

Just to note, this is not a new addition. I've been doing pride variations to standing portraits and skills since last Spring. It was one of the big changes with the character revamp and the Patreon poll that was done. It does take more time, but I'm trying to be as efficient as possible. Using vector artwork and symbols allows me to reuse quite a bit of stuff between pictures. Like this face and hair is also used in a breast flash picture. The hair in particular was needed, because I kind of cut corners last time in this particular profile angle, and it had bothered me for awhile.

Yea, I think part of the issue is I have these side by side, in-game you'd never see them like this. The eyes might not be as problematic as I thought. Glad you like them.

I like the way she has her head slightly turned on high pride, indicating she can't or won't meet your eyes. Nice touch!

Looks good, though personally i think she look more angry then embarrassed with high pride.

It's a great system and I love the pics but admittedly it doesn't look like she's quinting completely, it's more like it's her twin sister with a slightly different kind of face. Minor things though so don't break your head over it too much. ;)

From a personal standpoint I am quite pleased with both of those. But then again, I am also biased towards Elf ears. That said I do hope your able to portray some emotion with her ears as well. Course I love the way Aylia looks regardless, so keep it up!

Eyes seem fine, it works well with shading style. A true designer should never be happy with their work. Get a public release, then ask for feedback :D GL
