I’m moving!

ARAR updates have been a little rocky lately as I’ve tried to maintain weekly updates/early release for Patreon. And I’m trying to find things I can take off my plate temporarily, so I can focus on getting the hell outta this house already. My partner and I have been slowly working on getting our house ready for the market, but we both work full-time, so it’s been difficult to find the time/energy/motivation to get things accomplished.

We made some decent headway while I was on my paid time off from work last week, but there’s still lots to do. I haven’t had time to build up a decent buffer of updates for a while now, so I’ve been pumping out updates as last minute as the night before, or even the morning of, to get them out in time. So, it’s time I finally just call it…Ask Ranma And Ryoga will need to go on a break.

I’ll be back as soon as I can, though it might not be until some time in the new year. I’ll be sure to keep you all posted on how things are going, and provide some sneak peeks when I can. I want to build up a sizeable buffer before I return, so I can queue up a few good weeks worth of updates so I can be back in a good place.

Drawing Of The Month is still happening, though I’ll probably just have to go back to drawing whatever the hell I fancy for these last two months of 2024. I’m thinking maybe for 2025 I can do some kind of singular theme throughout, but I dunno. If you have any ideas for 2025 DOTMs, let me know!

Anyway, I’m sorry, y’all! 🙏 please know I didn’t make this decision lightly. I waffled about it for months in fact lol—ARAR means a lot to me and I want to be able to give this comic the love and attention it deserves, and I simply can’t do it right now. But I’ll be back as soon as I can!

TL;DR: I’m moving houses and need to focus my energies on that so ARAR is taking a break (hiatus is such a strong word) and will be back, hopefully, some time in the new year.
