In celebration of the Ranma 1/2 anime remake announcement, this month's Drawing of the Month theme was "Ranma Remake", and folks got to send in their fave moments from the manga and then vote on a winner to be remade in my style!

For the first time, I did a poll both on Tumblr and here. The difference in results was staggering, but this scene was the winner for Patreon, and y'all are the folks who pay for the Drawing of the Month, so, your votes trump all. (Which is fine by me cause I really wanted to do this scene)

I decided to use the remake colours (for everyone we see in the poster, anyway, I just used my usual palette for Herb...we better be gettin' him in the remake, too). Still wrapping my brain around pink-haired Ranma, but it's cute.

I did another mini-poll over on my Patreon Discord to see if folks want to keep doing the poll, only I pick out the prompts on my own instead of waiting on submissions, or just have me do a surprise drawing each month instead. The majority was for me to just do a surprise drawing, but I think I'll run the poll officially again here on my page, to give the non-Discord patrons a chance to choose, as well.
